Guardianship & Intervention – What you need to know!

Update are pleased to announce the return of this popular one day, interactive seminar.

Numerous issues now arise in practice where consideration requires to be given to questions of capacity and in particular what action requires to be taken under the Adults with Incapacity.

This seminar is designed to provide information and guidance on capacity issues especially in the context of the preparation of powers of attorney, protecting assets and the specific professional obligations on solicitors.

Speakers will examine the current practices and procedures in relation to welfare guardianship and the issues faced by Solicitors. During the day we will be taking a closer look at the area of taking instruction from someone with incapacity as well as the current difficulties faced in the system today.

This CPD conference is an exciting opportunity for anyone currently working within this area and for those wishing to expand their knowledge and network with colleagues at the same time.

This one day seminar will arm you with the following;

• Taking instruction from someone with Incapacity.
• Protecting Assets
• Trends in the Use of Welfare Guardianship
• Current guardianship issues and practitioners problems
