Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions:
Question 1: What are the safety protocols that will be in place for the Conference?
Answer 1 The IAI is committed to following all guidelines and protocols set forth by the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center along with the city of Nashville for large group meetings. See the ‘About’ page for details.
Question 2: How do I find lectures, workshops, and meetings?
Answer 2 Visit the agenda page and sort by the type of presentation and discipline you are looking for.
Question 3: Do I have to register for particular lectures?
Answer 3 No, all lectures are available for you to choose to attend, and no preregistration is required for lectures.
Question 4: Do I have to register for workshops?
Answer 4 Yes, all workshops (starting with a W followed by a numerical code ex: W092) require preregistration and additional fees.
Question 5: How do I print a hard copy of the lectures and workshops?
Answer 5 Use the filters to narrow down to the presentations you are interested in and print from your laptop.(See Mobile App Question)
Question 6: IAI members have a reduced conference rate, how do I become an IAI member?
Answer 6 Go to the main IAI website (www.theiai.org) and view the membership requirements there under Membership tab.
Question 7: What events occur at the conference in addition to the Educational Program?
Answer 7 See the ‘Events’ filter for details.
Question 8: Does attendance at the IAI qualify me to be a forensic expert?
Answer 8 Attending an IAI Conference is a valuable part of forensic continuing education, it does not alone qualify one as an expert.
Question 9: How do I become involved as a presenter in the future?
Answer 9 Look for the proposal applications to open in January and February of the year of each conference. Applications are available on the main IAI website at that time (www.theiai.org)

Question 11: Where can I find Poster Presentation information?
Answer 11 The Poster Presentation application has passed and the entry period is now closed.
Question 12: How can I find out information about the Photo Contest?
Answer 12 The deadline for the Photo Contest has passed and it is now closed.
Question 13: What are the different categories for Conference Registration?
Answer 13 See the registration tab to view the different registration types that are available and the costs.
