Join other nuclear power plant professionals that have benefited from attendance at the Significance Determination Process (SDP) Seminar. During the SDP Seminar you will learn through both lectures and the use of Scientech-crafted, hands-on exercises and discussions of current, actual plant examples designed to reinforce understanding of the processes. Examples of topics include: radiation safety, emergency planning, reactor safety (at power and shutdown), maintenance risk and fire protection. In addition, changes to the ever-evolving SDP inspection manual chapters are emphasized. After the seminar, participants with take with them the knowledge necessary to evaluate regulatory issues and make determinations using the NRC's Significance Determination Process.
