Yasmine Kandissounon is a software security engineer at Rackspace. She received her B.S. in computer science from Columbus State University in Georgia, and her M.S. in information security and technology management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. Yasmine has a background in software engineering but is really passionate about software security. During her undergrad and graduate studies, she participated in several security research projects. On her spare time, Yasmine enjoys working with programs that aim to spark an interest in technology in young people, such as robotic competitions and coding workshops and summer camps for kids. She currently resides in San Antonio, TX and can be contacted at yasmine@rackspace.com.
