Senior Technical Artist

Gracie Arenas Strittmatter is a Senior Technical Artist at BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts, in Austin, Texas. An 8-year veteran of the gaming industry and professional “problem solver”, she currently works on new IP and holds credits on multiple AAA titles including Star Wars: The Old Republic, Madden NFL, NBA Live, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour. As the first woman in her family to graduate from college, she is an advocate for the power of education and the value of women in technology. She has volunteered with SIGGRAPH for over a decade in student-related initiatives, actively partners with EA’s University Relations team to introduce students around the country to careers in gaming, and currently serves on the industry board for the Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University. Gracie is originally from San Antonio, Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Mathematics minor) and a Master of Science in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M University.
