I am currently a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle. My research focuses on creating closed-loop systems for deep brain stimulation to reduce power consumption and side effects; additionally I am studying long-term brain-computer interface learning in human subjects. I received my B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in May, 2014. I am passionate about improving representation of women in tech, especially LGBTQ+ women and non-male individuals. I am also an active mentor of undergraduate and grade school women who are interested in CS and STEM.
