This page will provide you with up-to-date information to support your proposal submission and potential participation in the 2025 Asia Pacific Leadership Institute Meeting. We encourage you to check back regularly for helpful tips and updates to ensure a smooth and successful experience.

What is the PMI Asia Pacific Leadership Institute Meeting (LIM)? | 26 – 29 June 2025

LIM events are specifically designed for chapter volunteers, offering valuable content to enhance their knowledge and leadership skills. Chapter leaders are encouraged to attend Regional LIMs for targeted sessions that support their roles. Additionally, Chapter Leaders attending LIM are welcome to register as attendees for Global Summit, where they can further develop their professional skills in a broader context. In 2025, some Leadership Institute Meetings will be co-located with the Global Summit Series, offering chapter leaders opportunities to network with global volunteer leaders.

**Whether or not you have submitted in the past to PMI Events, all submitters will need to create a new user login and password specifically for Events in Manila.**

  1. Login Page can be found HERE or select "Login" at the top of the page.
  2. Select "New User? Click Here" under the login fields.

          

        3. Create your profile in its entirety, and click "save". You will use these credentials to access this site throughout the process.

1. Once logged in you will be able to create a submission.

2. You will select "Submissions" at the top of the page to create a new submission.


3. To return to an existing submission, log in with your credentials (email address and password) and select "Submissions" to view your proposal(s).

For Accepted Presenters:

Deadline 28 February for Accepted Presenters to: 
•    Confirm participation.
•    Complete Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest forms.
•    Review and confirm profile - company, title, bio, headshot.
•    Make applicable revisions to session title, description and/or learning objectives based on subject matter expert feedback.
•    Confirm co-presenter. 

Please Note: PMI offers up to two (2) complimentary registrations: One to the lead presenter and one to a single, approved co-presenter.

Presenters must arrive in event city and check in at speaker registration at least 24 hours in advance to schedule presentation date.

Presentation Preparation
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Delivering a quality presentation means taking the time to prepare your talking points, visuals, and to practice, practice, practice! Presenters will be given the tools to prepare their presentation in advance in order to deliver a quality-rich presentation to this year’s participants.

We are seeking Chapter Leaders -led presentations for the 2025 Asia Pacific Leadership Institute Meeting, on topics relevant to the list below:

  • Nonprofits – showcasing projects and initiatives that drive social good, align with PMI's mission, and highlight Chapters’ role in giving back to the community

  • AI and Chapters (chapter initiatives that are fostering AI endeavors locally) 


Rules of Engagement/Requirements

  • Only proposals submitted online and by the published deadline will be considered. 

  • Must be a member of a chapter in Asia Pacific or South Asia in order for your submission to be considered.

  • Carefully write out your submission in advance before entering it into the system. 

  • While more than one proposal may be submitted, please note that acceptances are limited to a maximum of one per person. 

  • Submitter is the lead presenter and primary point of contact. 

  • One co-presenter may participate and co-presenter information must be shared at time of submission. 

  • Use clear, error-free language and note word limits for titles and descriptions. 

  • PMI retains the right to modify titles and descriptions for marketing purposes. 

  • Avoid all commercial bias; content is to be educational in nature, neutral and unbiased, free of commercial motive/intent. 

  • Priority given to proposals that include original content that has not been presented elsewhere. 

  • Proposals may be accepted as standalone session, or may be combined with proposals of similar topics (to co-present).

  • Accepted presenters must adhere to published deadlines (see chart below for milestones). 

  • Accepted presenters will prepare a final presentation for review that must be submitted by the posted deadline. 

  • Accepted presenters must observe any intellectual property rights. 

  • Accepted presenters must register for the event.  Registration fees may apply, according to travel grant information provided to the chapter.

Earning and Submitting PDUs 

Giving Back to the Profession is a unique opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and skills while growing both personally and professionally. Although not required for recertification, earning Giving Back PDUs is a great way to expand your horizons.

You can earn Giving Back PDUs by giving a presentation –  15 minutes equals .25 PDUs or 1 hour equals 1 PDU. Check out the certification handbook for more details, and visit our online Continuing Certification Renewal System (CCRS) to report PDUs and view your certification records. Be sure to keep track of your time preparing and delivering your presentation so that you may claim PDUs as a self-reported activity.

  • To claim PDUs: Log into ccrs.pmi.org with your username and password, and click Report PDUs. Your PDUs should be claimed under "Give a Presentation."
