The Donor Egg Meeting will be held April 24 - 27, 2025 at the Wild Dunes Resort, on Isle of Palms South Carolina. The symposium will focus on the technology of oocyte donation and third-party reproduction in assisted reproductive technology. A nationally recognized faculty will address the needs of reproductive endocrinologists, fellows, residents, laboratory professionals, nurses and mental health professionals in this rapidly expanding segment of in-vitro fertilization. The symposium format will allow the participants direct input into each faculty member’s presentation. The symposium’s roundtable breakfast and break-out luncheon will provide an opportunity for extensive contact between course faculty and participants. An electronic comprehensive syllabus developed by the course faculty will also be provided.
This year we will be offering a mini symposium entitled “Donor Eggs 101”. The mini symposium is designed to aid in the development of a new donor egg program and help new members of the donor egg team. It will address the basics of egg donation such as how to advertise for donors, the step-by- step donor screening process, synchronization of the donor and recipient, stimulations, embryology and embryo transfer.
Once again, we are offering the FDA 101 symposium.. This 3-hr course will review the FDA regulations as they pertain to reproductive tissue. It will include a thorough discussion about the regulations, compliance, testing, screening, specimen labeling, and resources for reproductive centers. The goal is to give all attendees the tools they will need for a successful FDA inspection.
