Program
Please join LLS for a free virtual education program for patients and their families. Participants will learn about ways to cope during the holiday season, when having a blood cancer diagnosis and during a pandemic.
The holidays this year might look a little different, especially if you have a cancer diagnosis. Join us as we talk through some strategies to cope with potential anxieties, fears, sadness, and isolation that some may face this year. The psychology of risk will also be addressed, and how we understand and think about risk in relation to coronavirus precautions during the holidays
In addition to learning about the causes and consequences of stress and methods to better cope, participants will also hear about good health habits to keep during the pandemic. Resources available in the community and those provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will also be presented. We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
