Camp Information
Camp B is an optional overnight camp in Prescott, AZ for incoming out of state students, international students, and in state students from counties outside of Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai, and Gila. At camp, you can expect to participate in team challenges, meet other Tempe, Downtown, and West Valley students, learn more about Barrett resources, and start off your college career with a memorable experience!

The cost of the camp is $85* per student and includes:

• Transportation on a motor coach bus (from Tempe)
• All Meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunch, 1 dinner, snacks)
• Lodging for 1 night at camp
• Camp B T-shirt
• Camp B Sweatshirt
• All materials for activities
• Early Move In with ASU Housing

Camp B 2025 Dates: August 14-15, 2025

Students will leave from ASU Tempe at 8 AM on the 14th and return back at 3 PM on the 15th. If you are waitlisted, don't worry! You will be emailed as soon as a space becomes available.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect my time at Camp B to look like?
We will leave from the Tempe campus early in the morning and arrive up at camp for a brief introduction and lunch. Day 1 will be filled with activities and team builders designed to help you make connections and learn more about ASU and Barrett resources. We will have a group dinner and if fire conditions permit, plan to have a fire and s'mores that evening before heading back to your cabin (shared rooms/bunk style) for the night! Day 2 we will get up for breakfast, participate in closing activities and head back to Tempe!

What do I need to bring?
All participants will receive a packing list in July, but since meals are provided, you can expect to bring

• Sleeping bag or sheets and blanket
• Pillow
• Comfortable clothes/shoes for an overnight trip
• Toiletries for an overnight trip
• Sunscreen
• Flashlight
• Any medications

Can I move in early?
Yes! If you have a booking with ASU Housing, we will ask you for that information during registration. We will then coordinate a move-in time for you that will be about 24 hours before you leave for camp. Please note, early move in is not assisted move-in so you will need to move in your belongings (although carts are able to be rented at the front desk upon check-in on a first come, first serve basis).

What if I am an Arizona resident?
At this time, we are only opening registration for out of state students, but will allow students from counties outside of Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai, and Gila on July 1st, and all other students on July 15th. We recommend checking out the Barrett Events Calendar or the Barrett Tempe Instagram page for information on upcoming events. 

Where is Camp B held?
Camp B is held in Prescott, Arizona at a campsite called Emmanuel Pines. It is about two hours north of the Phoenix metro area.

What if I am also going to E2 Camp?
If you are an Engineering student who is also planning to attend E2, we would encourage you to sign up for Camp 10, as this camp date will be occuring directly prior to Camp B.
