Program Details

Please join us as our guest speakers address the importance of Mental and Nutritional Health during and after treatment:

Workshop 1:

Emily Rubin, Author, Writing Instructor, Breast Cancer Survivor
Do you ever find yourself needing an outlet to express yourself? Do you sometimes feel like others who have not had cancer don’t understand what you have been through? Please join us for Emily Rubin’s Write Treatment Workshop that engages cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers in the craft of writing as a creative and therapeutic practice. The workshops are a place where people affected by cancer can gather to process illness, as well as take a break from the rigors of treatment by exploring personal history through guided writing prompts. You will write together and share what you have written if you wish.

Workshop 2:

Chef M.H.A Thibeault, Professional Chef
Looking for creative new ways to create a delicious meal? Curious to learn new cooking techniques in the kitchen that are easy and quick to implement in your home kitchen? Join us over lunch for a cooking demonstration and nutrition talk. You will learn how to put together a balanced meal that is not only delicious, but also nutritious!

We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members to attend with you.

We hope you can join us for this free in-person education event!
