About the Program

The 2023 Berkeley Real Estate Club Summit comes at a unique period of inflection both for real estate capital markets and the development, construction and technology industries that drive California’s built environment. This year’s event hopes to help make sense of that change by bringing together accomplished speakers from across disciplines to discuss what they are observing, planning and accomplishing in their respective fields. A series of moderated panels will focus on a variety of subjects and industries:

• A discussion of Google’s recently completed Bay View Campus (Winner, ENR Best Project of the Year 2022) featuring Google and Sares Regis executive project management

• Technological advances in construction and property technology, as discussed by industry founders and investors

• The climate for affordable housing development, as discussed by senior management members from some of California’s largest affordable housing developers

• Real estate capital markets and investment portfolio management, as discussed by senior investment team members from major multinational real estate investment firms Oxford Properties, Grosvenor, Placemakr, and CIM Group
