The IIA Vancouver Chapter is pleased to announce a virtual event discussing risk trends for 2026. This event will prepare Internal Audit professionals to help organizations navigate emerging risks.
Risk isn’t what it used to be. It’s faster. Smarter. More unpredictable. The risks aren’t only multiplying; they’re interconnected. One disruption can trigger a ripple effect. The session will cover risks that Internal Audit professionals should have on their radar as they prepare their plans for the upcoming year.
SPEAKERS
Margaret Pacheco: Margaret is a Managing Director at Protiviti and leads the Internal Audit, Financial Advisory and Technology Audit team in Canada. She is a seasoned leader in Audit, Governance, Risk, Compliance and Project Management with over 20 years of experience. Margaret is a past-president of the IIA Toronto Chapter and current Board Chair of the Chapter
Michael Kostanecki: Michael is a Director at Protiviti and leads the Technology Audit team in Canada. Michael is a proven leader with over 18 years of Internal Audit and IT Consulting experience, specializing in the areas of Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and Third-Party Risk Management Assessments / Internal Audits.
