At the heart of the new IIA Standards is the thrust for a deeper level of collaboration between the Board, management and the internal audit function. Domain III establishes the framework and support mechanism to build that level of collaboration.

In this session we will:

1. Understand the Framework and Essential Conditions that supports effective collaborations. Essential Conditions are absolutely necessary to create the environment for collaborations.
2. Understand the enhanced roles of the Board, management and the CAE in establishing and maintaining the Framework. The demand on the CAE is enhanced under the new standards.
3. The Value of Evidence to support Domain III.
4. Explore strategies to effectively engage management and the Board with their enhanced roles under Domain III.
5. Tips and takeaways to implement Domain III in your own audit shops.
