Description: Writing is a complex process that requires multiple skills working together - idea generation, organization, spelling, grammar, and motor skills, just to name a few. Many students struggle with at least one of these areas, and without the right support, writing can feel overwhelming. In this session, we'll explore a variety of strategies to help students at all skill levels become more confident, capable writers. Topics will include structured approaches to breaking down the writing process, tools for planning and revising, accommodations for students with writing challenges, and ways to increase student engagement in writing tasks.
Whether you teach young students just learning to write or older students refining their skills, you'll walk away with practical techniques, technology tools, and easy-to-implement strategies to make writing more accessible for all learners.
