REGISTRATION POLICIES
Delayed Registration
Do you need to register, but must first get approval from your agency or organization? If so, please email us at hazards.workshop@colorado.edu. Once approved, you will be given a registration code that will allow you to register and pay later. Please note that all registrations must be paid in full by June 16, 2025, or your registration will be cancelled, and your spot will be given to the next person on the wait list.
Special Circumstances
If your employment status has been affected by recent transitions, but you still plan to attend the Workshop, please email us directly at: hazards.workshop@colorado.edu.
Capacity/Waitlist
Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Natural Hazard Workshop is capped at 750 registrants due to space limitations. We will close registration when we reach capacity, and a waitlist will be activated. If you foresee that you will not be able to register before capacity is reached due to your organization's travel and registration policies, please contact us at hazards.workshop@colorado.edu.
Workshop Moderators and Panelists
All Workshop moderators and speakers will receive a discount code for $50 off general registration. If you have already registered, you will be able to log back into your registration form and apply the code for a refund. We are unable to offer speaker discounts to Workshop Poster Session presenters, Researchers Meeting participants, or Practitioners Meeting panelists.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of registration. The University of Colorado Boulder does not accept purchase orders and cannot bill for registration fees. Retain all receipts for your records. If we have no record of payment when the conference begins, we will require payment at that time.
