Speake Description: Allison M. (Yee) McLeod is an attorney at law specializing in Taxation and a full-time Senior Lecturer at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas since 2010. She also served as an expert witness in multi-million-dollar cases involving tax litigation and accounting malpractice. She has been licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas since 1992 and a Certified Public Accountant since 1993. She presents ethics seminars across the nation for both CPAs, lawyers, and internal auditors. She has maintained a private practice specializing in Taxation for the past 25 years.
Session Description: This course will examine certain qualities a leader must exhibit to set an ethical tone from the top. By the end of the seminar, the participant will be able to:
- Examine critical qualities of an ethical leader.
- Discuss extraordinary examples of ethical behavior from ordinary people.
- Take away action steps for increasing your ethical presence in your workplace.
Program Content:
- Examining the lives of ordinary people whose moral courage had a significant impact on those around them.
- How anyone, irrespective of their role in an organization, can inspire others to embrace ethical attitudes.
- Showing how even simple actions can outsized effect on a person’s sphere of influence.
