Over 35 business studies show that listening is one of the key skills for business success yet less than 2% of the population has been properly trained on how to listen. By improving this skill, individuals and teams can be more effective in business and enhance relationships. Learning Objectives: In this session, we will discuss the importance of listening, explore the three levels of listening, and practice the most effective level - active listening.

National Registry Statement: The IIA Chicago Chapter is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
