UCD Bioinformatics Core 2024 June Single Cell Workshops
June 10-13, 2024
Session 1. This three-day session (June 10 - 12, 9am-5pm) covers experimental design, data generation, and analysis of single cell RNA sequencing data. Participants will explore a single cell experiment using the command line and R, create and modify workflows, and diagnose and treat problematic data utilizing high performance computing services. The primary packages used for analysis will be 10x software for sequence reads to counts, and the R package Seurat for downstream analysis.
Session 2. This one-day session (June 13, 9am-5pm) is an in-depth look at single cell multiome data analysis, focusing on gene expression combined with chromatin accessibilty (ATAC) data, with multiome data generated on the 10X platform. Participants should already be familiar with single cell RNA-Seq analysis, the basics of which will not be covered in this course.
