GHR Hub NSF SPRF Workshop

Bring your NSF SPRF to the Global Human Rights Hub at Arizona State University

Are you a PhD student studying global human rights in Political Science, Sociology, or Anthropology? If so, consider applying for a National Science Foundation SPRF. The SPRF funds postdoctoral scholars at an academic institution of their choosing. Arizona State’s Global Human Rights Hub can host you as a postdoctoral scholar so that you can take advantage of our lively human rights scholarly community and join a world-renowned R1 to conduct your research.

During this hour long Zoom members of the Executive Committee of the Global Human Rights Hub will discuss several questions related to post docs and the NSF SPRF including – why a postdoc? What is an NSF SPRF? What does a complete application for an NSF SPRF look like? What role can the Global Human Rights Hub play in supporting your postdoctoral scholarship. What does the Hub look for in applicants that want to work with us? Professor Jessica Katzenstein, recipient of a 2022 NSF SPRF, affiliated with the Global Human Rights Hub will discuss her experience and help answer your questions.

Zoom link will be provided upon registration. RSVP today!
