The NASA STEAM activity “Art and The Cosmic Connection” will be featured during this webinar. NASA Educator Professional Development is presenting a free 60-minute webinar for K-12 formal and informal educators on at 6:00 p.m. EST. Participants will learn about the Solar System and about activities that bring Art into the STEM classroom. Participants will learn about Art & The Cosmic Connection, a NASA STEAM Activity.
Discussion will include classroom modifications.

Sara Garcia-Torres, Ph.D. currently serves as an EPD Specialist at NASA Ames Research Center. She works with educators, families, and community members to support STEM efforts. Her research interests include STEM education. She holds degrees from TSU (PhD & MEd), and UTSA (BA).
