This training will provide an overview of the facilitation process and will help IEP stakeholders to be collaborative team members in a facilitated IEP meeting. Participants will learn how to clearly define their role in the IEP meeting, enabling them to prepare for active meeting participation.
Additionally, participants will develop skills to broker more effective and efficient communication, resulting in a collaborative, non-adversarial, and compliant student-centered IEP meeting
Intended audience: General Education and Special Education teachers and administrators, Special Education Related Service providers, parents, advocates.

NOTE: The training is a blended learning format consisting of independent work presented through a learning management system (LMS) and a live session delivered through Zoom technology.
