Program

Patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers are invited to join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for an evening of education and connection through this free virtual program. Participants will learn about long term side effects of a blood cancer diagnosis and its impact on survivorship.

The program will include topics relating to useful information that patients and their caregivers can use to advocate for a healthier wellbeing after treatment and throughout their survivorship journey. Our first speaker, Dr. Sara Keck will review topics such as physical and psychological effects, standards of survivorship care and preventative health. Sharon Meyer, CNC will then join and share more about nutrition and its importance in one’s survivorship journey. They will both end the program with a Q&A session.

In addition to learning about survivorship, participants will learn about the resources available in their community and those provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
