The Annual Yale Pediatric Update was started 18 years ago, in response to requests for high quality CME addressing advances in the field of pediatrics and topics of practical interest. The course is designed to meet the educational needs of pediatric practitioners seeking tools, resources, and evidence-based recommendations for evaluating and managing a variety of both common and potentially serious pediatric health conditions. This year’s topics include: COVID-19 update, impact of pandemic on social media use and domestic violence, building resilience in children and caregivers, concussions in young children, talking to children about race, and pediatric transgender healthcare.
