Program

Your treatment is over and now begins a new step in your journey: life after cancer. No one forgets that he, she or a loved one once had cancer. After remission, many patients may feel anxiety about their health and fear that the cancer may return.

In this program, participants will learn about the impact of cancer-related fears on the lives of survivors, and they will have the opportunity to "try out" coping skills designed to increase ease during times of challenge, such as mindfulness meditation and self-compassion. Participants will also learn about survivorship and support resources, both locally and nationally through LLS and CSC. Caregivers and loved ones are encouraged to join this program.
