Welcome to the Women in Medicine Symposium website!

We are thrilled to invite you to this event June 28-29, 2024 at the beautiful Terranea Resort.

This year’s SCPMG Women in Medicine Symposium will honor the legacy of our recent past, articulate our current state, and chart our course into the future of medicine with the SCPMG women physicians and allies who co-own it.

Over the last few years, we have tethered the Women in Medicine conference agenda to the Stanford Model of Wellness. As a result, this event has become a place of renewing and connection.

Moving forward, that thinking will remain foundational to planning this event: highlighting fairness, belonging, and wellness as integral to a fulfilling professional experience.

Evolving this year, we recognize 3 domains where we have impact and influence:

• Health Justice in Care Delivery Outcomes
• Equity and Inclusion for Persons in the Workforce
• Benefitting the Communities we serve

We have planned an agenda that showcases EID beyond theory—we are including EID in action. We will continue our tradition of charitable contributions to deserving people. Please check back on the website for information on our philanthropic efforts. We encourage you to invite a colleague to the symposium to be included in a raffle to win a prize.

We hope you can join us for a weekend filled with insightful discussions, empowering presentations, and networking opportunities. On Friday, June 28 at 7pm, the 'Women in Medicine Soiree', our evening of celebration and networking will take place. The soiree will feature:

• Photo Booth to capture fun moments and memories
• Connecting with friends & opportunity to meet new friends
• Dessert & light appetizers, and more!
