“Advanced Bystander Assistance"
Learn how to be a side by side assistant to the EMS by enhancing what is learned in "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist". Students are taught how to be a Leader at a scene. Advanced Airway, Common Roadway Medical Concerns, Long Boarding, Femoral Traction, Femoral pressure points and PACT/ABCSS of Trauma are all addressed & practiced. 6.0 CEs
IL - ASM Advanced 300 Series Class. Pre-requisite: Basic 100 series class within the past 2 years (2021 or 2022). Instructors: Jesus Leanos and Assistant Instructor: Steve Vick. Location: Veterans of Foreign Wars. This class is OPEN to the general public. Cost is $85.00 per student and includes all course materials, a patch and certificate. Clas limit is 25 students.
