Navigating the Intersection of AI and Data
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies can help solve large-scale data problems and transform society for the better if there is sufficient assurance that the results from AI algorithms can be trusted. Federal Chief Data and Analytics Officers must work in partnership with Chief Information Officers, Chief AI Officers, Chief Privacy Officers, and others to make informed decisions about the governance, costs, and benefits of adopting AI solutions and ensure that AI developed and deployed by the government is robust, secure, trustworthy, unbiased, and ethical.
Leveraging knowledge, insights, and lessons learned across Civilian, DoD and Intelligence departments and agencies that will help Data and AI leaders to discover the possibilities and manage the risks across next-generation systems and implement more robust data and model management, and digital transformation strategies.
Registration will close on September 17, 2024
The annual MITRE Data and AI Summit is a no-cost, government-only opportunity to network with peers, discuss hard problems, and compare solutions across the IC, DoD, and Civilian sectors. Speaker presentations will be streamed virtually for online attendees. Afternoon breakout workshops will allow in-person attendees to brainstorm solutions to whole-of-nation data, analytics, and AI challenges.
Facilitated connections across attendees will provide opportunities to share lessons learned in the areas of end-to-end data lifecycle management, protecting data via zero trust, AI-enabled systems development, and AI assurance through policy and governance.
Registration is now open and will close on September 17, 2024. MITRE staff attending on behalf of a sponsor organization should register via the internal MITRE form.
