Sen. Warner was elected by the Commonwealth of Virginia to serve in the U.S. Senate in November 2008 and reelected to a third term in November 2020. He serves as Chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence and as a member of the Senate Finance, Banking, Budget, and Rules Committees. During his time in the Senate, Sen. Warner has established himself as a bipartisan leader who works across the aisle to accomplish real solutions for Virginians. He has served as a key author and negotiator of several pieces of critical legislation aimed at rebuilding our nation’s infrastructure, improving cybersecurity, restoring domestic manufacturing, protecting national security, and investing in underserved and underbanked communities.
From 2002 to 2006, he served as Governor of Virginia. When he left office in 2006, Virginia was ranked as the best state for business, the best-managed state, and the best state in which to receive a public education. The first in his family to graduate from college, Sen. Warner spent 20 years as a successful technology and business leader in Virginia before entering public office. An early investor in the cellular telephone business, he co-founded the company that became Nextel and invested in hundreds of start-up technology companies that created tens of thousands of jobs.
Senior Advisor to U.S. Secretary of Department of Commerce
Kevin Gallagher serves as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce – the principal agency which is responsible for administering a historic level of funding through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Kevin Gallagher advises the Secretary on issues relating to economic development, broadband, and workforce development. Gallagher comes to the U.S. Department of Commerce from Providence, Rhode Island, where he most recently served as then-Governor Raimondo’s Senior Deputy Chief of Staff.

A: Proof of vaccination is not required to register or attend. We will follow any local CDC guidelines in place at the time of the event. Currently, there are no mask requirements in Arlington, VA, or at the Hotel.

Q. How far is the Hotel from Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Washington, D.C.?
A. The Hotel is one mile from DCA, two miles from Washington, D.C., and directly connected to the Crystal City Metro station.
Q: What Airport should I fly into?
A: Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest option (1 mile from Hotel), but Duller International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) are options (each is 46-60 minutes from the Hotel)
Q: Is there transportation to/from the DCA airport and Hotel?
A: The Hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from/to DCA which runs 5am to midnight every 30 minutes. Last Hotel departure is at 11:30pm

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
Q: When should I plan to arrive/leave the event?
A: Breakfast on Day-1 is 7:30 AM and sessions begin at 8:30. If you are flying in, we suggest you arrive on the night of 4/18. The event ends at 5:00 PM on 4/20, so most attendees should be able to schedule a flight for the evening/night of 4/20.
