VP Infrastructure Engineering

Jeff Rothschild joined Facebook in 2005 and as VP Infrastructure Engineering, focused on scalability, availability, and performance. Previously, Jeff was co-founder of Veritas Software, which introduced the first commercial journaling file system and logical volume manager. Veritas achieved $1.5B in annual sales and was later acquired by Symantec for $13.5B. Jeff is on the board of directors of Primary Data and Interana, and serves on the Technology Transfer Committee at Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the venture development team at Accel Partners. Jeff has a BA in Psychology and an MS in Computer Science, both from Vanderbilt University.
