Description
LGBT bullying is prevalent around the world. In order to better understand its impact, a comprehensive literature review was conducted identifying the historical context of discriminatory treatment against sexual minorities and how it relates to current trends in bullying. The risk factors associated with bullying are discussed and interventions and preventative initiatives are highlighted. Research findings will be used to guide discussion and promote participation for future considerations.
