Who did you talk to? Examining responses to bullying victimization in separate samples of Canadian and Italian youth

Description
This submission explores the reactions of youth who have been victims of bullying and/or cyberbullying. We asked youth from Canada and Italy if they confided in anyone about being a victim and if so, to whom did they confide? Our results show that peers or parents are much more likely to be confidants than teachers. Because bullying tends to be school related, further research should continue to examine ways to improve student-teacher relationships.
