Bio

Myron J. Bromberg, DDS, Division Coordinator: A 1964 graduate of the University of the Pacific Dental School, Dr. Bromberg is the past chairperson of the AGD's LGA Council, as well as past chairperson of the Dental Care Council. He is Division Coordinator for the Advocacy Division for the past 3 years, encompassing the LGA and DP Councils. He was also the recipient of the 2000 AGD Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Bromberg has also served the AGD as a member of the Strategic Advancement Committee and has been a member of the House of Delegates for the past 27 years and consultant to Reference Committees for the past 20 years. He has received the California AGD's Outstanding Member Award as well as the CAGD Deon Carrico Spirit of Leadership Award and has served his constituent as dental care and legislative chair. He has been a member of the AGD Professional Relations Committee for 15 years. He was an author of the AGD White Paper on Access. He has testified in front of a government subcommittee regarding proposed ergonomics legislation. In 2010 he testified in front of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) regarding access and workforce on behalf of the AGD. He has been a speaker and clinician at AGD annual meetings and conferences as well as conducting courses for the AGD on how to meet with and present AGD's positions to legislators. In addition to chairing the AGD’s Government Relations Conference, he has led AGD delegations to meet with legislators in Washington DC. Additionally, he has represented the AGD at the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) as well as at the National Oral Health Conference.
