Bio
Dr. Arthur H. Jeske is currently Professor in the Department of General Practice
& Dental Public Health and Associate Dean for Strategic
Planning & Continuing Dental Education
at the UT School of Dentistry in Houston.
Dr. Jeske received his B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina
and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and D.M.D. degree from the Medical College
of Georgia in Augusta.
He is Editor-in-Chief of Mosby's Dental
Drug Reference and serves as Section Editor in Pharmacology for the journal
Cranio. He is also Coordinating Editor of Oakstone's
Practical Reviews in General and Cosmetic
Dentistry. Dr. Jeske is a Fellow in both the American
and International College of Dentists and in the Academy of Dentistry International and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
He is past Editor of the Journal
of the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Texas Dental Journal,
and previously served
four years on the American
Dental Association's Council
on Scientific Affairs, including one year as Council Chair.
Dr. Art Jeske honors include
membership in Omicro Kappa Upsilon,
Delta Sigma Delta, and the Distinguished Alumnus
Award from the Medical College
of Georgia School of Dentistry.
Dr. Jeske has been in the part-time
practice of general
dentistry for over 35 years.
