Description: With the mounting evidence linking poor oral health to serious systemic health issues, preventive dentistry and dental hygiene play prominent roles in any successful dental practice. This course is designed to update dental professionals on the protocols and technologies that can provide a more comprehensive exam for patients to help prevent or manage disease in its early stages. The discussion will also focus on patient education to help promote create value for the examination and the proposed treatment plan.
