Description: This course is focused on the top three oral-systemic
associations that dental practitioners should be most comfortable talking about
with patients: heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Discussion will center on
tools that can help practitioners and their teams better communicate with
patients on oral systemic health, as well as the potential impact in health
outcomes and health care cost savings that could be achieved through the
treatment of infections in the mouth.
