Description: Often, joint, muscle and functional exams are reserved for patients who have pain or severe wear. Occlusion gets separated out as if it isn't a part of the dentistry practitioners do every day. Assessing a patient occlusal risk is a key factor in predictability and managing the patients health for the long-term. This conversation will address how to assess functional risk for every patient, using systems that work around scheduling and fees.
