Drivers and goals for System-level initiatives require multiple strategies to meet diverse campus missions. One consistent and singular goal is to increase leads, and ultimately enrollments, for the portfolio of online programs. In the very competitive landscape of digital education and with limited resources, institutions must maximize the investment to achieve the highest ROI. Expertise and cutting edge technology are essential elements. When is it prudent to outsource specific strategies to third-party solutions? This session will focus on why the University of Nebraska Online and Open SUNY decided to outsource web-based lead generation for their System-level initiatives by leveraging third parties. Specifically, we will discuss the drivers and goals for the initiatives and how outsourcing was determined to be the optimal strategy to achieve exponential growth in lead generation.
