People express their thoughts and emotions in social media. We analyze 123k Twitter profiles and 25M tweets to investigate the relation between user emotions and predicted demographics. Our approach is based on building machine learning models to predict emotions and demographics from user content. We report novel demographic-affect correlations and its implications on online self-disclosure.
