PROGRAM DETAILS

Target Audience:
Fellows, Sonographers, Obstetricians, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, Radiologists, Cardiologists

Purpose:
The purpose of this conference is to increase the knowledge and skills of sonographers and physicians who care for pregnant patients caarrying a fetus with possible congenital heart disease. The first day will focus on the importance of ultrasound screening for heart defects in the fetus. The second day will focus more on the impact of extracardiac anomalies on the fetal heart. This day will also include hands on imaging, pathology and a parent panel. These sessions will increase the expertise of participants on imaging these anomalies and will also add to their knowledge of the expected courses and outcomes in different types of congenital heart disease

Program Objectives:
Join us at the Fetal Cardiac Imaging Conference to increase your knowledge of congenital heart disease.  You will:

  • Increase knowledge of and skills for screening congenital heart disease
  • Identify markers for cardiac disease
  • Recognize extracardiac anomalies and the impact on the heart
  • Participate in hands-on imaging and pathology sessions
