Deborah Estrin is a Professor of Computer Science at Cornell Tech (http://tech.cornell.edu/deborah-estrin), Professor of Public Health at Weill Cornell Medical College, and co-founder of Open mHealth (http://openmhealth.org/). Deborah was previously at UCLA directing the NSF Center for Embedded Networked Sensing. She is a pioneer in networked sensing, using mobile and wireless systems to collect and analyze real time data about the physical world and the people who occupy it. Her current focus is on mobile health and small data, leveraging the pervasiveness of mobile devices and digital interactions for health and life management (see TEDMED https://smalldata.tech.cornell.edu/). She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering.

From there, she founded three startups including Property Management Shop, all of which are still operating. Andrew O’Brien is the Special Representative for Global Partnerships in the Secretary of State’s Office of the Global Partnership Initiative. Previously, Special Representative O’Brien had served as Secretary Kerry’s Massachusetts State Director in the Senate since 2007, reprising a role he had served in from 2003 to 2005. In this position, O’Brien played a lead role in all major policy and legislative deliberations affecting Massachusetts in the United States Congress, and is particularly proud of his work with small businesses, organized labor, the LGBT community, youth, veterans groups and new immigrants on behalf of then-Senator Kerry. In the past several years, he has lectured on politics and government at the city, state and national levels.

Sikka has led the development of SAP’s breakthrough in-memory platform, SAP HANA, and drives HANA as the foundation for SAP’s entire portfolio and its ecosystem of customers, partners and developers. Sikka authored "Timeless Software," which represents the renewal of products without disruption to customer environments and underpins SAP’s innovation strategy. Sikka holds a doctorate in computer science from Stanford University, and his experience includes research in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and programming languages and models – at Stanford, at Xerox Palo Alto Labs, and as founder of two startup companies.
