FT Commodities Global Summit 2015
20 - 22 April 2015 | Beau Rivage Palace, Lausanne

The Financial Times would like to thank all participants of the fourth annual Global Commodities Summit which took place from 20 - 22 April at the Beau Rivage Palace, Lausanne.

The industry-leading Summit focused on the challenges facing the commodities industry as it adjusts to a period of plentiful supply, lower prices, slowing global growth and inflation. The leaders of some of the world’s biggest resources companies debated topics ranging from the rise of China in the global agribusiness market, the dramatic collapse in oil prices, regulation and the challenges facing commodities traders in a rapidly changing market place.

Chaired by Lionel Barber, editor of the FT and co chaired by Neil Hume, FT commodities editor, it provided participants with a unique opportunity to address prominent issues and meet with some of the most important people in the industry, including Ning Gaoning, Chairman of COFCO who delivered a fantastic opening address.
