Dear Metal Trades Department supporter,

Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Metal Trades Department, AFL-CIO, has made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming October Conference in Las Vegas. Our focus, first-and-foremost, is the safety and health of our conference attendees and special guests. We could not, in good conscience hold this meeting with the uncertainty surrounding this virus. Although we will not be holding our Conference this year, the 71st Metal Trades Department Convention will be held in October 2021, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for details and registration information to be released early in the new year. We can’t wait until we can all be back together again. In the meanwhile, please stay safe and healthy. We wish you all well and will see you next year.
