The Lady Cilento Children's Hospital (LCCH) is a major 359-bed specialist children's hospital in Brisbane opened in late 2014. Last year, the hospital became the first in Australasia to be awarded Level 1 Major Trauma Service status by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. In April, LCCH began the transition to a fully integrated electronic medical record (ieMR), achieving major advancements in digital clinical care and information sharing. Designed for healing, LCCH has also been awarded several awards for integrating nature in its buildings as part of a holistic approach to health and well-being. If you want to find out how to radically transform your care spaces using a "salutogenic" approach and learn about the clinically-led ieMR implementation, hop onto this tour. |

Princess Alexandra Hospital

In 2015, Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) became Australia's first large-scale digital hospital when the hospital achieved HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 6 accreditation. To-date, PAH is one of only three Australian hospitals to attain this level of EMR adoption. A digital leader, PAH designed and implemented Australia's largest ieMR in a leading tertiary university hospital – with a big bang approach – after a 18-month pre-implementation stage. Digital conversion occurred rapidly over two weeks. If you are looking to learn about major ieMR implementations from an exemplar site, find out about "go live" practicalities and experience an EMRAM Stage 6 facility, this is the tour to be on. |
