Creating Sustainable Wealth for Rural Families

September 20, 2012  3:30 pm - 4:45 pm

Room: Virginia B

Building assets and preserving those assets has become ever more challenging for American families. Asset-building programs strive to help American families expand wealth through asset accumulation but can struggle to meet these goals in isolated rural communities with little social infrastructure or resources. This session will provide insights into how asset-building programs can improve their effectiveness and, ultimately, enhance the quality of life for rural American families.
