How does being shortlisted for a Chambers Awards differ from being ranked in the Chambers Guide?
The shortlist of candidates is drawn up by looking at a firm’s progress and development throughout the whole research year. We look at the work highlights provided by the practice area submissions, ranking changes, new office openings, firm growth, and above all the client feedback.  Unlike the rankings, which focus on teams and individuals in certain practice areas, the awards highlight how well a firm is performing in a jurisdiction or region as a whole.
