JUDGING PROCESS – ORGANISATIONAL AWARDS
 
2014 National Playspace Award Category C winner - Blacktown Showground Redevelopment

  1. Judging is conducted by a panel of up to 5 experienced parks and leisure practitioners.
  2. Judges are asked to declare if a conflict of interest exists and if so are excluded from the judging of that submission.
  3. Awards are judged in accordance with the award criteria.
  4. Should the respective judging panel believe that no nomination meets the criteria or standard of excellence required, it will not be obliged to confer the particular award.
  5. Winners are announced at a regional awards ceremony in your region. 
  6. The national judging panel is comprised of 5 judges, one from each region. 
  7. National winners are announced at the Awards of Excellence gala dinner.
  8. All decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence entered into.

 



JUDGING PROCESS – INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

 
2014 National Playspace Award Category A winner - Suneden Sensory Playspace


David Aldous Student of the Year and Emerging Leader of the Year Awards

  1. Eligible submissions are judged by a panel of up to 5 judges representing each of the 5 regions. 
  2. Judges are asked to declare if a conflict of interest exists and if so are excluded from the judging of that submission.
  3. Should the respective judging panel believe that no individual meets the criteria or standard of excellence required, it will not be obliged to confer the particular award. 

 Frank Stewart Distinguished Service Award

  1. Eligible submissions are judged by a panel of former Frank Stewart Award recipients, in accordance with the award criteria submitted.
  2. The winner is announced at the Awards of Excellence gala dinner.
  3. All decisions of the judging panel will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
