Bio
Suryadip earned his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH in USA. He is currently doing his research in BigData, Fog based Cloud networks and wireless body area sensor network. He has taught as a visiting summer faculty in Stanford University,CA in Summer, 2016 and has proudly joined the Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, North Carolina in Fall, 2016. He has several international peer-reviewed conference and journal publications and one patent. He is serving as the steering committee member in IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC) as well as the mentor for Google Summer of Code project. Professor Chakraborty is very much active in promoting STEM studies among the high school and graduating students in the community. Dr. Chakraborty is an innovative academic leader and passionate technologist with 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive programs and organizational transformation.
