Design Researcher

Nina Jennings works at Microsoft as a Design Researcher & Storyteller in the Developer Division. She has been in user experience for over 16 years and has worked at companies such as Dell, Intuit, IBM, Kelley Blue Book & Life Technologies, Inc and has consulted on cross-cultural projects in over 10 countries. She holds several patents and has authored 14 published works of fiction as well as 2 non-fiction books, films, and several plays (including the accompanying music). Her work has appeared on numerous best-seller lists around the country and has recently been short-listed for a Doctorow Award in literary fiction and nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Excellence in Literature. She has tackled such subjects as internet safety among teens, domestic abuse, sexual harassment and date rape. She volunteers her time with Jack & Jill of America, The Links, Inc, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, and The Girl Friends, Inc. She lives in the Seattle Area with her husband and two daughters.
