Harini Gunabalan is a Masters Student, specializing in Distributed Software Systems at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. She has a professional experience of 2.5 years as a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, India and a 1 year Student (Internship/Graduate Student Researcher) experience at SAP Research, Germany. She works for the Cloudwave EU project at SAP, and her Master thesis work focuses on Feedback Driven Development of Cloud Applications. Her other Research interests include: Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, Big Data Analytics, Mobile Sensing and App development, Databases (Columnar & In-Memory), and Machine Learning. She is also a mentor of the “Big Sister Mentoring Network” at TU Darmstadt, volunteer coach for Rails Girls-Frankfurt, part of the Techettes-Frankfurt and Systers community.
